Feb 14, 2009 路 Select C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe or where ever your Wow.exe file is. Highlight Wow.exe. Select "Windows 2000". Then go to the Graphics tab. Uncheck "Allow window manager to control the windows" and "Allow window manager to decorate the windows". Now go to the Audio tab. Check both ALSA and OSS.
Aug 19, 2023 路 If you tap [Alt] and [Enter] together, World of Warcraft (and other games like Dead by Daylight) should be able to go full screen mode. For all options, go through this keyboard shortcut checklist below: Press [Alt] [Enter] once or twice to go fullscreen. Press [F11] key once to go fullscreen. Hold [Fn] and press [F11] key once to go fullscreen.
Select Game Settings. Under World of Warcraft, check the box for Additional Command Line Arguments. Type: -d3d11 You will want to try this with -d3d12, -d3d11legacy. Clearing WTF, Cache, and Interface folders. Reinstalling. Made sure my Nvidia drivers are up to date: v470.63.01. (I'm suspicious a recent driver update my have caused the issue, to be honest) Launching the game with the -Windowed flag. Launching the game with the -d3dx11 flag. As the title says, I鈥檝e encountered a problem with having multiple monitors at different resolutions while in windowed (fullscreen) and using g-sync. It used to be possible by changing it in the Registry (regedit.exe). I'm not sure if it still works, but here it is anyway: Navigate to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III\Video and there change the resheight and reswidth keys (to 900 and 1600 respectively in your case). Dec 9, 2019 路 When I Alt+Tab or use a Windows key to get out of a game (in this case World of Warcraft) and use a Windows feature or other program like Chrome, when I return to the game, I experience a 1-2 seconds black display. This also happens when I use keyboard shortcuts to change volume and the Windows volume bar appear in game.
Also check that under 'Manage 3D Settings' and then going under the 'Program Settings' tab on the right window, make sure you do not have WoW listed there (the list is not alphabetical) or if it is, make sure the option for 'Monitor Technology' is set to Global or G-SYNC. Sep 23, 2019 路 As of yesterday morning my World of Warcraft: Classic and World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth are both acting like Fullscreen applications while they are in Windowed(Fullscreen). Whenever I alt-tab back into the game all of my monitors go black, like you would expect from a Fullscreen application, before the game re-appears with as the focus.
